Responsible Care
Provides direct care to skilled nursing facility residents, serving their needs in a manner conducive to safety and comfort. Performs personal hygiene care, assists with nutritional needs, and recognizes and deals with the problems associated with the aging process.
Qualifications
- Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer date
- Maintains awareness of safety issues and strives to accomplish responsibilities in a safe manner
- Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective actions
