Nursing Assistant

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant I provides compassionate patient care, supporting rehabilitation nurses with delegated treatments and assisting patients in achieving recovery goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care tasks following hospital, state, and federal guidelines
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Support a patient-centered environment prioritizing safety and recovery
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and peers
• Participate in learning and career growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license or certification as per state requirements
• CPR certification
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience with office equipment and strong communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds, transfer, and reposition patients
• Ability to work independently and reliably, demonstrating punctuality
• Flexibility to work various shifts and during emergencies
