Nursing Assistant

About the Role

As a Nursing Assistant at Encompass Health, you will provide compassionate, personalized care and assist RNs in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey. You will work with cutting‑edge technology, collaborate with a supportive team, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals while building meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patient care and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients safely.
• Communicate patient concerns and observations to nurses.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families to understand unique needs and facilitate recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and milestones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• CNA license required.

Pay

Hourly rate range: $17.25 – $21.00 per hour. Excellent PRN rates are also available. Compensation will be determined based on years of experience, applicable certifications, and includes generous shift differentials.

Schedule

Full‑time and part‑time positions are available for both day and night shifts.
