Nursing Assistant

Base wage for Certified Nursing Assistants (18 years or older) is $22/hour. Additional $2.00 shift differential for evenings and nights.

About the role

The Nursing Assistant provides total personal care to residents in a safe, efficient manner under supervision of a licensed nurse and according to established facility policies/procedures and the resident care plan. Assists in rehabilitation of residents to attain and maintain the highest level of performance and independence possible.

Positions available: full-time or part-time (evening or day shift), casual, or on-call. Must work every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities

• Provide total personal care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Follow established facility policies, procedures, and resident care plans.
• Assist in the rehabilitation of residents to achieve and maintain their highest level of performance and independence.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program with current certification, or ability to attend classes and become certified (facility will pay for certification class).
