About the Role
Provides medical and administrative assistance to members of the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Aids physicians and nursing staff members as needed
- Assists with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures in accordance with his/her level of training
- Performs EKGs
- Obtains patient history
- Monitors vital signs
- Obtains non-invasive body fluid specimens
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program or comparable program
- Experience working in a physician office, clinic, or ambulatory health care center
- Must be CPR certified
