Nursing Assistant

About the Role

Provides medical and administrative assistance to members of the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Aids physicians and nursing staff members as needed
• Assists with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures in accordance with his/her level of training
• Performs EKGs
• Obtains patient history
• Monitors vital signs
• Obtains non-invasive body fluid specimens
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program or comparable program
• Experience working in a physician office, clinic, or ambulatory health care center
• Must be CPR certified
