About the role
Aids licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care and assists in maintaining the unit's environmental cleanliness under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintains an orderly unit environment with adequate supplies and equipment for patient care.
- Communicates effectively to support the provision of patient care and unit operations.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
