Nursing Admin Supervisor, PRN, Days

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain quality patient care that ensures safety and well-being of all patients throughout the organization on assigned shift.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control to facilitate patient flow, providing optimum service to all Piedmont customers.
• Monitor bed availability and implement surge capacity measures as needed.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate staffing on a shift-to-shift basis.
• Serve as the designated on-site hospital administrator after normal business hours.
• Assess all requests for administrator-on-call contact during your shift.
• Oversee all hospital activities in the absence of Administration and/or department directors.
• Work under the direction of the Administrator on-call to determine activation of the disaster plan and coordinate related activities.
• Conduct rounds and maintain open communication with all staff.

This position requires a sound knowledge of nursing practice and exceptional leadership abilities.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting (Required).
• Demonstrated clinical competency (Required).

Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required).
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Preferred).
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Preferred).
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation (Preferred).
