Nursing Adjunct Faculty - Part-Time Nursing Instructors Needed
Rasmussen University is seeking dynamic Part-Time Adjunct instructors to teach within the Nursing program at our Eagan campus. Our teaching roles allow you to continue working in the field while exploring academia and engaging the next generation of nurses. Our nursing courses provide the knowledge, clinical skills, and nursing values critical for student success.
About the role
Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned, either on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations. Use effective teaching strategies and multiple techniques to create an engaging, student-centered learning environment for a diverse student population. Foster high levels of student engagement through activities, community building, and synchronous learning sessions.

- Model appropriate learning skills and create an environment conducive to learning
- Engage students through activities, community building, and synchronous learning tools
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing (required)
- 1-year clinical experience as an RN (required); 2+ years preferred
- Active, unencumbered RN licensure
- Official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution
- Active CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Applicable faculty immunization documentation

Pay
Competitive hourly rates ranging from $38.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on course types, schedule, duties, location, skill set, experience, training, and other business needs.
Schedule
Part-time, flexible campus and clinical-based scheduling, generally consisting of 10-15 hours per week per course.
