NURSERY ATTENDANT

About the role

The Nursery Attendant attends to, plays with, and supervises children and their activities, ages 8 weeks to 14 years. Ensures the safety and well-being of children in the nursery and playland areas at all times. Enforces children's policies, including sick policy guidelines, while children are in the nursery. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the nursery, including the bathroom and play areas. Monitors children continuously and responds appropriately to their needs. Contacts parents when necessary, including when diaper changes are required. Ensures toys, books, and equipment are safe and appropriate for use. Follows and enforces all club policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of high school education required.
• Work permit required if under 18 years of age.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification (adult and infant/child) required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.

Skills

• Nursery care experience (not required).
• Ability to enforce children's policies.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to monitor children and respond to their needs.
• Ability to ensure toys, books, and equipment are safe.
• Knowledge of club policies and procedures.

Pay

$13.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Variable schedule, including flex shifts.
