About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) Level 2 to lead a dedicated and compassionate nursing team within our rehabilitation service. The service supports individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions and physical health needs, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and enhancing quality of life.

What you'll be doing
You will provide clinical and operational direction to a committed nursing workforce, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, promoting evidence-based practice, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care that supports consumers to achieve their recovery goals.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience; and demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in change management and initiating a new service delivery model within an established service.
- Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focussed care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
