Nurse Technician (Nurse Tech) - Rehabilitation

About the role

MercyOne Clive Rehabilitation Center is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
• More complex duties performed under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Completion of a 75-hour Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course is required.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

$3,000 Sign On Bonus available to well qualified applicants.

Schedule

3x12, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends.
