About the role
Nurse Supervisors (RNs) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment and leadership at Select Specialty Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Administer and supervise the clinical care being provided.
- Responsible for all safety, infection control, and quality of care issues while on duty.
- Aid in performance appraisals, mentoring staff during orientation, and handling disciplinary issues.
- Manage resources and foster a team-like atmosphere.
- Promote compliance with educational requirements and a culture of learning.
- Act as a clinical resource for staff members.
- Implement the staffing plan for your scheduled shift.
- Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation goals.
- Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Competent in Rapid Response and code events.
- Teach and counsel patients/families.
Requirements
- Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- BLS required at hire.
- ACLS required prior to completion of orientation.
Qualifications
- Long-term acute care or subacute experience preferred.
- EKG assessments and vasoactive drip competency preferred.
- Charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.

Pay
$58.72 - $78 per hour, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.
Schedule
3 x 12 Hour Shifts per week, with a weekend rotation and rotating holidays.
