Nurse Staff - Baylor, Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care to patients.
• Incorporates principles of statistical analysis, scientific theory, developmental and decision-making skills to improve patient outcomes.
• Plans, executes, conducts and evaluates both direct and indirect nursing care provided to surgical patients.
• Functions as a charge/lead nurse, coordinating and delegating care to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues.

Qualifications

• Eligible to participate in the Clinical Ladder program.
• Participates in any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.
