About the role

Bring your compassion to the classroom to support student health and success every day! Cross Country Education is seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide essential healthcare support for students throughout the 2026–2027 school year in the Bedford, NY area.

Provide on-call school nursing support, including health office coverage and one-to-one student care. Assess medical needs, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and provide emergency care. Support students with diverse medical, developmental, and physical needs in a safe, inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with school staff, families, and care teams to promote student health and well-being.

• Provide emergency care as needed

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Completed NYSED fingerprinting (or ability to obtain before starting)
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred

Pay

Earn $46.10 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
