About the role
Join Cross Country Education as a dedicated Registered Nurse and help create a safe, healthy environment for children by providing compassionate care and support in a school setting in Rochester, NY. Provide professional nursing care and support to students, addressing routine and acute health needs. Assess student health concerns, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and maintain accurate health records. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed. Promote student health and safety while maintaining confidentiality and following applicable school health policies.

Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Completed NYSED fingerprinting (or ability to obtain before starting)
- School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
Pay
Earn $42.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- 32.5 scheduled hours per week (school-based schedule)
