Nurse RN - PRN

About the role

Blue Cloud is a pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) company focused on providing safe, quality, and accessible care for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. We are expanding our team and are seeking a new Registered Nurse to join our care teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Maintain monitoring of patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications

Requirements

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)
