Nurse RN - PRN

About the role

Blue Cloud is a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) company focused on providing safe, quality, and affordable care for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. We are expanding our network and are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic care teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Maintain vigilance and monitor patient, promptly reporting any observed complications to the dentist or anesthetist

Requirements

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 60 days of hire
• Prior experience in ICU or perioperative nursing is preferred
