About the role
Delmar Gardens of Lenexa is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to oversee clinical operations in their skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
Responsibilities
- Assist nurse managers with overseeing clinical operations
- Maintain work flow and redefine priorities as necessary
- Make rounds on all divisions to ensure resident care needs are met
- Evaluate nursing services provided on assigned shift
- Document appropriate resident care during shift
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterizations, tracheal care, tube feedings, and administering oxygen
- Act as a resource for nursing staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse certification required.
Qualifications
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
