About the role
The Registered Nurse directs, coordinates, and controls nursing activities, assists in evaluations, and provides care for patients using the Nursing Process. Responsibilities include maintaining nursing schedules, orienting new employees, and ensuring compliance with hospital and state guidelines.

Requirements
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
- Required Education: Associate's Degree, BSN from an accredited school of nursing (effective July 1, 2018)
- Current Employees: Must have FHM Intermediate or Advanced by July 1, 2019 (new hires and transfers within 1 year of hire or transfer)
- Preferred Education: BSN
- Necessary Skills: Adheres to hospital and Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines, familiar with patient care equipment
- Required Licensure/Certifications: Licensed to practice nursing in Florida, BLS from the American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS, NRP (as required)
- Preferred Licensure/Certifications: Professional certification preferred
- Required Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience
Qualifications
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups

- New Hires: Must have BSN within 3 years of hire or transfer (effective June 14, 2017)
- Current Employees: Must have FHM Intermediate or Advanced by July 1, 2019 (grandfathered)

- Necessary Skills: Adheres to hospital and Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines, familiar with patient care equipment
- Required Licensure/Certifications: Licensed to practice nursing in Florida, BLS from the American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS, NRP (as required)
