Nurse Resident RN Rehab TBI

About the role

A 20-bed unit serving patients needing rehabilitation, post stroke, traumatic brain injury or other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring rehabilitation, post stroke, traumatic brain injury or other neurological conditions.
• Assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, and patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
• Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Less than 1 year of experience
• License as a Registered Nurse, Registered to practice in Maryland
• American Heart Association BLS Certification

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and post-stroke care
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
