NURSE RESIDENT RN I
Summary
The nurse resident will initiate a professional nursing practice career in a supportive environment committed to mentoring, coaching, and learning. They will build confidence through a structured, professional transition to practice experience that is customized to individual developmental needs. Nurse Residents will create and enhance professional networks and relationships with peers during the residency, while honing and developing clinical and leadership skills.
Scheduled Education Days
- Scheduled eight-hour paid education days off the unit are required for residents to participate in class activities.
Residency Program Length
- The entire residency program length is 12 months with the inclusion of the unit specific orientation that is either 12 or 16 weeks in length depending on the unit.
Evaluation Process
- Residents will also participate in evaluation of their own individual progress as well as evaluation of the overall program.
Pay Range
- Salary Range $35.05 - $52.56
Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
