Nurse Residency Program: Float Pool Track 2026
Job Details
The ChristianaCare Nurse Residency Program is a 12-month program designed for recent nursing graduates and students. It includes educational components and up to 18 weeks of preceptor-led clinical experiences across various units at Christiana and Wilmington Hospitals. The Float Pool Nurse Residency program allows nurses to float between medical, surgical, step-down, and transitional care units.
Requirements
- Graduating from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
- BLS certification required
- Less than 12 months of nursing experience by the start of the program
- Eligible for Delaware license as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse

What to Expect
After submitting your application, you will receive communication from the Talent Acquisition Team regarding specific next steps, including a video interview and clinical references. Interviews will be held on Wednesdays throughout the month. If offered, the start date will be August 17th.
Pay and Benefits
