Responsibilities

The Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency Program at Rochester, MN is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program. The program brings together newly licensed Registered Nurses from across the country in the first year of their career and offers the experience to become a well-rounded, fully competent Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Student or Graduate of a nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of current LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills.

Pay

The pay for this role is $35.84-$66.84.

Schedule

Full Time Hours/Pay Period 40-80. Schedule Details include Sunday-Saturday, Variable Days/Evenings/Nights, Variable 8 and/or 12 hour shifts. Weekend Schedule includes every other weekend, or every third weekend variable options.
