About The Opportunity
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and clinically confident Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their Detroit, Michigan team providing wound care and dermatologic services within a structured outpatient PACE clinic environment serving senior populations. This is a provider-focused opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule, established patient flow, strong clinical support, and the ability to make a meaningful impact caring for medically complex geriatric patients.
What You’ll Do
- Perform comprehensive wound and skin assessments
- Develop and manage individualized wound treatment plans
- Provide ongoing wound care management and follow-up care
- Perform procedures within scope of practice including:
- Debridement
- Compression wrapping
- Wound dressing applications
- Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (Wound VAC)
- Perform dermatologic and skin integrity evaluations
- Identify and manage common skin conditions and chronic wound concerns
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate caregivers and staff on wound prevention and treatment strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Travel locally between clinic locations within the Detroit market as needed
