Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care- Kansas City

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests
• Record medical histories
• Provide treatments
• Assist physicians
• Enhance public awareness on the importance of health
• Prescribe medications

Requirements

• 2 years' experience treating patients of all ages in urgent care setting required
• 12 hours shifts
• 8am-8pm
• 3 shifts/week
• 22-25 patient/shift with fluctuation
• Practice as solo practitioner
• $1500 CME
• 25 days PTO including holidays

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP
• Licensed in the State of Kansas as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• BLS certification, upon hire and maintained current
• One to two years of experience as a practitioner in a walk-in/urgent care practice required
• Previous experience with electronic health record
