About the Role

This inpatient role supports a Surgical Oncology team comprising surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers, focusing on complex procedures involving the liver, pancreas, biliary system, and gastrointestinal tract.

Responsibilities

• Daily inpatient rounding
• Comprehensive patient evaluation
• Ordering tests and consulting specialists
• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assisting in surgeries
• Coordinating care for smooth patient transitions
• Documenting records
• Participating in patient education and research

Requirements

• Current board certification
• DEA and BLS licenses
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
