About the role

Banner Health, a Top 5 Large Health System and one of the country's premier non-profit health care networks, is expanding its team of Advanced Practice Providers in Casper, WY. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ACNP to join a highly trained Cardiothoracic team at Wyoming Medical Center. The APP will round on patients on the hospital floor, see patients in the clinic, and provide surgical first assist in the OR. This position supports expansion and growing market shares in Casper and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Round on patients on the hospital floor
• See patients in the clinic
• Provide surgical first assist in the operating room
• Work collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements

• 1–2 years of Cardio-Thoracic surgical experience, including endoscopic vein harvesting
• ACNP with RNFA Certificate at the time of application
• Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as part of curriculum in a nationally accredited nurse practitioner program OR attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee
• Licensed in Wyoming or eligible for licensure
• DEA with prescriptive authority
• ACLS and BLS certification

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week with schedule flexibility
• Call required
