About the role

The Department of Surgery at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support the surgical house staff in providing comprehensive care to patients requiring surgical consultation, pre and post-operative management under an attending surgeon’s supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supports the surgical house staff in the care of patients requiring surgical consultation, pre and post-operative management under an attending surgeon’s supervision with or without surgical house staff involvement.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• 1.5 or more years’ experience in Nursing or relevant area
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
