Nurse Practitioner - Surgery

About the role

An Obesity Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) responsible for comprehensive obesity care including medical and surgical patient management, assessments, test interpretation, medication prescription, patient education, consultations, and research.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Evaluate and track patient progress
• Develop weight management plans
• Support pre- and post-operative care
• Provide decision-making in a team-based model
• Potentially manage medications for diabetes patients based on experience

Qualifications & Skills

• Current, unrestricted Arizona license or ability to obtain one
• Prescribing privileges with DEA license
• Experience in Obesity Medicine or Endocrinology preferred; recent graduates are welcome
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient care skills

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday. No call commitments.
