About the role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric and mental health care to military families
- Conduct individual, family, couple, and group therapy sessions
- Evaluate patients' mental health status and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by ANCC
- At least one year of experience in adult mental health or psychiatric care
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license in any state
Qualifications
- Experience with military families and veterans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
