Nurse Practitioner - Podiatry
About the role
The provider will work with our outpatient podiatry practice as well as operative care for patients with diabetic and ischemic foot wounds, and nail care. The position will allow for a diverse patient population, treating patients with foot and ankle problems. The position will be seeing patients in the office and may assist in the OR in a limited capacity.
Responsibilities
- Treating patients with foot and ankle problems
- Assisting in operative care for diabetic and ischemic foot wounds
- Performing nail care procedures
- Collaborating with the Memorial Podiatry team for expert diagnosis and care
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Two years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
- MSN required
- Active Nursing license
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Current BCLS
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently preferred
