Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.
- Conduct daily rounding, prescribe medications/treatment plans, and address acute/emergent issues.
- Communicate with facility nursing staff via phone or secure messaging as needed.
- Maintain reliable on-site attendance for scheduled shifts.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active U.S. license and board certification by ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN (for Nurse Practitioners), or by NCCPA (for Physician Assistants).
- Qualified specialties include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Practice, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Geriatric Medicine.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Schedule
- 6-hour facility shifts for full-time positions (rounds generally start between 7-10 a.m.).
- No on-call or overnight requirements.
