Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Urgent Care - Caldwell, ID - FT

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of musculoskeletal injuries and sport-related concussions
• Direct management of patients including multiple joint injections, splinting, casting, bracing, history and physicals
• Proper referral placement
• Management of both acute and chronic, non-surgical conditions
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic data
• Prescribing medications
• Developing a treatment plan

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• A strong medical background
• A desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group
