Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Hybrid Primary Care Float
About the role
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in building and expanding a virtual primary care program. You’ll be a part of the ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients both in person and virtually.
Responsibilities
- Care for the acute and chronic needs of patients from newborn to elderly.
- Perform physical exams and manage the health maintenance needs of our family medicine population.
- Perform routine clinical procedures independently including wart removal, PAP smears and skin lesion removals.
Requirements
- If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
- If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
- Required– Two (2) Years Of Relevant Clinical Experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
- If Nurse Practitioner*: Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
- If Physician Assistant*: Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice ANDActive PA board certification.
- All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
Qualifications
- Education: If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
- If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Commensurate with experience.
Schedule
100% FTE, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No holidays or call. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
