About the role
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP or PA) to work full-time at its Fruitland clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a rural health setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met.
- Utilize Epic® for Electronic Medical Record and Computerized Order Entry.
- Support a robust Hospitalist program covering inpatient patient needs.
- Participate in a multi-specialty medical group with on-site specialties including orthopedics, podiatry, physical therapy, occupational medicine, and bariatric surgery.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant medical license in Idaho and Oregon.
- Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho and Oregon.
- Board of Pharmacy and DEA certification.
- A strong medical background and a desire to support an established practice.

Located across from each other on the Snake River, where it forms the Idaho-Oregon border, Ontario, Oregon and Fruitland, Idaho serves as the retail, service, and medical center for 70,000 people within a 20-mile radius. Interstate 84 and Oregon Highways 20/26, 30, and 201 all pass through Ontario. Ontario/Fruitland is one hour from Boise, Idaho. The Boise Airport (BOI) is the principal airport serving the region, with several major airlines providing daily flights to medium and large cities in all directions. A local general aviation airport offers charter service and other Fixed Base Operator services.
Pay
Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Traditional clinic work week, M-F; no less than 36 hours of scheduled patient contact time.
