Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant: Breast Care, Saratoga Springs, NY

About the role

The Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care, located in award-winning Saratoga Springs, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The center works with patients for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of breast disease, led by two fellowship-trained breast surgeons, advanced practice providers, and nurse navigators.

Responsibilities

• Initiates testing and interprets laboratory and imaging data.
• Works closely with the health care team to provide patient care.
• Formulates a differential diagnosis and plan of care based on history, physical examination, and clinical findings.
• Admits/discharges patients to appropriate services.
• Maintains current knowledge and participates in educational programs.
• Participates in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State.
• Oncology experience is preferred.
• Interest in Women's Health and Breast Cancer survivorship.

• Exceptional clinical patient care skills.
• An interest in both patient management and patient education.

Pay

Pay Range: $114,000 to $141,000

Schedule

Five days per week, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with a commitment to a weekend call schedule of approximately 1:5.
