Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

About the role

Saratoga Medical Center Inc. is a leading medical staffing firm with over 30 years of experience. We are currently seeking an outpatient Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work on Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient care continuity
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately

Requirements

• A minimum of 24 months experience within the past 36 months in an outpatient clinic (Family Med, Internal Med, Emergency Dept., etc.)
• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Alabama
• Passing score on the National Certification Exam (if required)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCAPPA) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
