Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care
- Conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnoses conditions, develops plans, and prescribes medications for patients across the lifespan.
- Treats acute and chronic disease using evidence-based guidelines.
- Provides preventive care, health education, and counseling to individuals and families.
- Timely and accurate documentation, inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care.
- Participates in the coverage for clinic colleagues per departmental guidance.
- Participates in after-hours call coverage per departmental guidance.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Participates in multidisciplinary meetings, care reviews, and care planning.
- Collaborates with physicians, RNs, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and other professionals to optimize the health of MultiCare communities.
- Contributes to the development and improvement of population-based care.
- Population Health Management
- Utilizes data and risk stratification tools to prioritize patients at greatest risk.
- Engages in quality improvement focused on health outcomes, cost effectiveness, and cost reduction.
- Supports transitions of care and reduces readmissions and ED use.
Requirements
- Maintains active Washington State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- DEA and state prescriptive authority.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $141,394.00 - $149,996.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
