Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. You will work at 1102 S. Park Street in Madison, WI.

About the role

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

  • Conduct psychiatric and AODA assessments of patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • See patients as needed for new and follow-up psychiatric care, AODA treatment, including medications and psychotherapy.
  • Be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion and care coordination for patients with acute and chronic health needs.

Requirements

Education:

  • If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program
  • If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program

Licenses and Certifications:

  • If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND Active board certification as a NP in Psychiatric-Mental Health.
  • If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND Active PA board certification

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:

  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Skills

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in psychiatric and AODA assessments, new and follow-up psychiatric care, AODA treatment, including medications and psychotherapy.
