About the role

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This position provides advanced practice nursing care to critically ill children.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio
• Experience in pediatric critical care or related field
• Advanced knowledge of pharmacology and pathophysiology relevant to pediatric care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Adult-Gerontology Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner
• ACNP certification or eligible for NP certification
• Current CPR certification
