Monday - Friday Rotating Orthopedic Call (1) Week of at home call every 5 weeks
Prior Orthopedic experience preferred

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our inpatient team. The successful candidate will manage the comprehensive care of post-operative orthopedic patients from their initial recovery phase to final discharge coordination.
Responsibilities
- Participates in professional development
- Manages the health care of patient populations with compassion through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
- Prescribes treatments following a predetermined protocol in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
- Collaborates with orthopedic surgeons to formulate and execute effective, patient-centered treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Focuses on wound care, early mobilization, and patient and family education to ensure a smooth transition of care and prevent readmissions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Master's Degree Nursing (Accredited NP Program)
- Experience: Supervisor Experience (No Experience)
- Licenses & Certifications: Nurse Practitioner RN
Preferred Requirements
- Education: Doctorate Nursing
- Experience: 2-5 years
