About the role

MaineHealth Urology – Brunswick is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join their established and busy practice with two Physicians and two APPs.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive urological care
  • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
  • Provide education and counseling to patients regarding urological conditions
  • Potential for daytime call duty

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in PA studies from an accredited program or NPs with applicable experience/training
  • Current state license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensing in Maine
  • DEA certificate with prescribing privileges
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum two years relevant experience required, though does not need to be Urology background

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Passing score on the NCLEX-RN

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay range for this position is $113,050 to $146,300 annually based on the candidate’s level of experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position consisting primarily of outpatient clinic work with the potential for daytime call duty.
