About the role

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position consisting primarily of outpatient clinic work with the potential for daytime call duty and hospital rounding.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients in the urology clinic setting
  • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
  • Participate in hospital rounding and emergency department coverage as needed

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in PA studies from an accredited program or NPs with applicable experience/training
  • Current state license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensing in Maine
  • DEA certificate with prescribing privileges
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum two years relevant experience required, though does not need to be Urology background

Qualifications

  • Desired qualifications and experience in primary care, urology, or related fields

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
