Description
This position serves as the manager of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team, overseeing their selection, training, and ongoing education and development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with administrative and physician leaders to ensure shared accountability for care team engagement, patient experience, quality, financial performance, and overall success of the Ambulatory Cardiology – Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL).
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program.
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Five years clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years progressive leadership experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Basic understanding of leadership and management principles, good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior management experience is desirable.
- Skills in time management, problem solving, crisis intervention, multitasking, and handling complex organizational matters.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, clinical staff, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Must have a current BLS certification.
