Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate - Geriatric Medicine Portland, ME

About the role

MaineHealth Geriatric Medicine is seeking a Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to care for patients in partnered facilities including long term care, assisted living and skilled rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients
• Work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care
• Work with a team of geriatricians and other APPs in a shared patient model

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program
• Two years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate experience preferred but not required
• Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS certification

Pay

The annual salary range for this position at a 1.00 FTE is $113,900 to $147,400.
