Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate, Emergency Medicine

About the role

The successful candidate will assist in the exciting opportunity to join a collegial Emergency Medicine team serving our Coastal Maine community. Candidates will work in a very upbeat atmosphere working alongside other Physicians and APP’s as well as great support staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing emergency care to patients
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct physical exams, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment plans
• Document patient encounters using Epic EMR
• Participate in a team-based care model

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Graduate of an accredited certified Family Nurse Practitioner’s program or graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program
• Maine NP or PA License and DEA
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Experience in Emergency Medicine required
• Two years’ experience as an NP/PA preferred

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Graduate of an accredited certified Family Nurse Practitioner’s program or graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program
