Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urology (West Hospital)

IU Health Medical Group- Metro Region is hiring! We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urology team at IU West Hospital in Avon, IN! Position Details Full-time, DaysMonday-Friday; 8am-5pmNo holiday, weekends, or call100% outpatientPatient volume: 45-60/week General urology, adultTeam includes 4 physicians and 4 APPsProcedures include: possible cystocospy, catherization, catheter changes, irrigation, urodynamic testing, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation Responsibilities Provide safe and effective care for a diverse urologic patient populationComplete clinic visits and documentation in a timely mannerAssist with inpatient consultations and roundingEngage in patient education, coordination of care and timely management of subsequent result communicationFoster growth and education in the clinic environment by being a resource for clinic support staffCollaborate with practice physicians and APPs ensuring the appropriate continuation of care for patientsParticipate in APP monthly meetings and professional development activities such as attending optional weekly learning opportunities Qualifications FNP, or PA Board Eligible or Certified 1 year of prior APP experience preferred; Preferred urology experienceWill consider new APP graduates with urologic experience IU Health offers a value-based package that includes: group insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 401k with company match, generous PTO, CME allowance/time off, relocation assistance, and malpractice insurance coverage.
