Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urology (Muncie, IN)
About the role
IU Health Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urology Department in Muncie, Indiana. The position is full‑time, day shift with a mix of outpatient and inpatient work. The affiliated hospital is a level 3 trauma center, teaching hospital, and regional tertiary referral center that has undergone a $130 million remodel and has a strong research background in oncology, cardiology, and coagulation.
Responsibilities
- Seeing new and return patients in the clinic
- Taking care of post‑op patients
- Performing minor procedures such as placing catheters
Requirements
ACNP, FNP or PA certification required.
Qualifications
- APP experience preferred
- If a new graduate, 3‑5 years of nursing experience in critical care, ER, or resource pool
