About the Role
PRN (as needed) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position in our Urgent Care clinic in Bloomington, IN. Minimum commitment of 3 shifts per month, 100% outpatient setting serving patients ages 3 months and up.
- Urgent care and occupational medicine visits across all locations
- Services include injury and illness care, laceration repair, incision & drainage, EKG, suturing
- Occupational medicine: workers’ compensation evaluations, DOT physicals, sports physicals
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care and occupational-medicine services
- Perform minor procedures (laceration repair, I&D, suturing, EKG)
- Conduct DOT physicals, sports physicals, and workers’ compensation evaluations
Requirements
- Current FNP or PA certification
- Must obtain DOT certification within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine
