Position Overview

As the lead medical provider, you'll combine clinical excellence with education, encouragement, and accountability to help patients achieve lasting results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and physical examinations.
  • Review medical histories, laboratory results, ECGs, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based medical weight management.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with supervising physician protocols and state regulations.
  • Provide ongoing nutritional counseling, lifestyle coaching, and preventive medicine education.
  • Educate patients on supplements, wellness products, hormone optimization therapies, and IV nutrient therapy.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.
  • Cook up referrals when clinically appropriate.
  • Conduct follow-up communication to encourage patient success and address concerns.
  • Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients through active listening, education, encouragement, and individualized care.

Clinical Leadership

  • Serve as the lead provider and clinical resource for the team.
  • Mentor Medical Assistants and other clinical staff.
  • Provide clinical oversight of patient care and quality initiatives.
  • Review clinical reports, KPIs, and patient outcome metrics.
  • Participate in ongoing staff education and training.
  • Help improve workflows, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of new clinical services, including hormone optimization and IV nutrient therapy.
  • Collaborate closely with clinic leadership to help grow the practice while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • Current New Jersey DEA registration (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Current CAQH profile (Preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and professionalism.
  • Commitment to evidence-based medicine and exceptional patient care.

Experience

  • Preferred experience or interest in:
  • Medical weight management
  • Lifestyle medicine
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
  • IV nutrient therapy
  • Preventive medicine
  • Patient education and motivational interviewing

Training

  • Available for team members interested in expanding their skills in hormone optimization, IV therapy support, and other wellness services.

Position Details

  • Part-Time (24–30 hours/week) or per diem (6-12 hours/week).
  • In-person position.
  • Saturday morning availability required.
  • Anticipated start date: Approximately 2–3 weeks prior to our planned September 2026 clinic opening.
